Our Story
Nature 2 Tap was founded to solve a massive problem: lead contamination in households and schools.
For over 30 years, Chuck Bove—environmental scientist, water testing quality expert, and father of 2 girls—has been helping businesses, schools and industry with the highest level of water testing through his company, Vista Environmental Consulting, leaders in lead water testing.
With the recent national epidemic of lead exposure in household tap water—in places like Flint, MI and Newark, NJ—and Chuck wanted a better way to help protect families and ensure that they have the highest quality of life with their everyday drinking water.
Using his background in industrial-grade testing, Chuck developed Nature 2 Tap as an easy, affordable solution for families to feel safe drinking their tap water through access a nationally certified laboratory.
Chuck’s vision for Nature 2 Tap is to educate families about the global issues around lead water contamination and the steps to take to test and mitigate this problem through education and awareness.
Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, Nature 2 Tap aims to work with top industry leaders to help households test and periodically check their water quality on a regular basis, just like other national programs like “checking your smoke detector.”
