Nature 2 Tap at The Annual Conference on School Facilities - CASH

2 weeks ago our founders attended a conference in Long Beach, California – aimed at gathering school facility professionals for further development and growth in the industry. The Annual Conference on School Facilities, which is CASH’s largest annual event and actually attracts over 2000 school facility professionals from all around the state of California. Our founders hosted one of the 200+ trade show exhibitor stalls and the turnout was great!

Our team behind Nature 2 Tap are without a doubt industry professionals - with a vast knowledge and experience base due to our 30 years of experience in the industry. Environmental consulting is where the team behind Nature 2 Tap really grew as industry professionals and in all those years we have gained the know-how and the confidence in execution to help all of the public and not ‘just’ focus on the industry level! We want to help other parents, other families, other home owners - that’s how Nature 2 Tap was born! 

Nature 2 Tap is our youngest and our most public-minded endeavor - and we are doing everything we can, not just to educate the public about our mission and the overall issue of lead in water – but also trying to learn and improve every single day to help the public understand, learn and act. We are always eager to grow and improve to help you, by meeting new people in the industry, connecting with companies, school districts, etc. to make the difference that is needed as soon and efficiently as possible.

The event was very successful in the sense of showing more people who we are and what we stand for, which now more than ever is important as we know that we can help at the very core of the problem. Whether this is at the household level, individual schools, or entire school districts. We know that we can assist them in the process of making lead testing a lot easier and more efficient and affordable than the current method schools use, if any at all! The children across the country should not be suffering from possible lead contaminated pipes, fixtures and ultimately drinking water, because of a lack of budget or understanding of the matter.

We want to help wherever we can so it was a great event for us to meet individuals who work within school districts and might have a say in the right places moving forward.

Countless studies have shown that children are at the highest risk of taking serious, irreversible damage, from lead contamination – While some states are more strict than others when it comes to the testing, and reliability of said testing – it doesn’t always grant the desired results. These schools that have been testing on a district or state level have shown to often post results with alarming numbers of institutions that have currently active water sources containing lead - often far exceeding the 15 ppb limit set forward by the EPA with their 1991 “Lead and Copper Rule”
